1. To book a course you must pay a £150 deposit for courses up to 3 months and a £300 deposit for courses over 3 months. Your course will only be confirmed upon receipt of this deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and not transferable. If you pay the full fees initially, your payment will include this deposit.

2. The balance of fees must be paid before the course begins.

3. While every effort will be made to place students at the centre of their choice and at their preferred time, occasionally the location or time of classes may need to change according to demand. The school reserves the right to offer an alternative course if the demand is below that required for a course to operate.

4. The school is closed for two weeks at Christmas. There is no reduction in fees if the course includes a bank holiday (Except One-to-One tuition). A holiday of one week may be taken for every 12 weeks booked.

5. Students must be aged 16 years or over.

6. The school is required to notify the UK Border Agency of the non-attendance of any students who needed a student visa to enter the UK. If you fail to attend for more than 10 consecutive days, we are obliged to inform the UK Border Agency, and this may affect your visa status. You will need to show 85% attendance when renewing your visa.

7. Refunds are subject to the following:
      a) Once the course has commenced or if the student is in the UK, tuition fees are not transferable or returnable in
          part or in full.
      b) Fees are only valid for the specified person.
      c) We strongly recommend you take out insurance in case you are unable to start your course or complete it for
reasons beyond your control such as illness.
      d) Fees less the deposit will be refunded if you fail to gain a visa. Original documentary evidence of this must be
          provided.
      e) Requests for refunds must be made in writing to Language Link if you applied directly, otherwise refunds should
          be requested from your agent.
      f) Change of time is strictly subject to availability. The rules of refunds apply as above and any additional fees have
to be paid before the change can be made.
      g) In all cases of refunds of tuition fees, your student card or letter of enrolment must be shown.

8. Language Link can accept no responsibility for students' personal possessions left unattended on school premises.
