Choice & Flexibility

We have English language courses to suit every student.  You can start any week of the year and study for any length of time from 1 - 48 weeks.  We welcome all levels from Beginner to Advanced and offer a varied timetable of full and part-time courses from morning through to evening and even weekend courses.  Each study block is divided into 50-minute periods to enable students to cover a wide range of material.

A Dynamic Learning System

Language Link takes a cooperative approach to learning, based on the principles that students can learn from each other as well as from the teacher, and that one of the teacher’s most important jobs is to provide opportunities within the classroom to allow this learning to happen.

  • Friendly, informal lessons, carefully planned and monitored by your teacher

  • A communicative, task-based approach to help you use English appropriately in different situations

  • A cooperative learning environment, which is particularly effective in developing speaking and writing skills

  • Opportunities to explore and discuss new ideas, thoughts and opinions in English

Your First Day

Please come to school promptly on your first day when you will be given a written and spoken test so that we can place you in the appropriate class for your level of English.  The test will take approximately one hour.  After you have completed your registration you will be given details of your teacher and classroom.  You will also be given a Student Welcome Pack that has further details about the school as well as additional information we think you may find useful.

Please feel free to speak to a member of staff at any time about any topic.  We understand that everything is new and we like to talk to our students.

What to bring with you on your first day

* Your Language Link letter of registration (if you have one)
* Your passport
* 3 passport-sized photographs
* A pen and paper for your lessons
