If you are planning to study at a UK university, you will need to take the IELTS examination.

 The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an academic-based examination which tests your ability in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The test is graded from 0-9, and most universities require a score of 6.0-7.5 (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level).

Note that if you wish to continue to a Masters degree, you will have to retake the IELTS test as your score expires after 2 years.

IELTS tests can be taken every week at a cost of approximately £105. Please note that Language Link offers an IELTS preparation course, but is not a testing centre.
